authoressnebula encouraged me to try looking at TTM again… And when I did, inspiration hit! So, thanks hon. This is also for papervalentine, because she wants Spawn fic… I promise I will write you a more you-friendly Spawn at some point, but hopefully this will do for now! Also for darkinnocent, because she made me a lovely Spawn manip for another story a while back and I STILL haven’t written pt 2. This is by way of apology and to note I haven’t forgotten her work…

“They’re, like, crazy glued together,” said Dawn, sighing.
“Is that right?” said Spike, not looking up. He painted his toenails with deliberate strokes. Only Spike, Dawn decided, could make painting his nails look, well, cool. And sort of sexy. It helped that the polish was black and his toes weren’t hairy. Spike having hairy toes would really have ruined her thoughts about him.
