Good morning! I've woken up so here are the prompts!

ETA: One clarification. This works the same way as during the summer. You are allowed to post your responses to the prompts at any point you like as long as it's posted before the closing date for that particular prompt. For example: If your muse is on the roll and you can write stories for both prompts right now, you are more than welcome to post even both stories today. The only rule is that the story has to be posted before midnight on the closing date.

Hi, Piksa. I just did the rope one and hope to link that in the morning. Just wanted to know when I can link the next prompt. Can I incorporate it in the next thing I write and link it this week as well?

You can link to it anytime between today and the 22 Dec which is the closing date for that prompt. Forgot to mention that in the post.

This works the same way as during the summer that in case you can finish your story early and possibly don't have time to write during the week the prompt is meant for you can post it ahead of time.

For each prompt, we do we always have to write about the same character or characters or can it be different ones that strike us at the time? Btw, I'm, joining if you need to know that.

The only requirement for the stories is that it exceeds 500 words. You can write whatever characters you wish, or even original fiction and change the characters and story line every single week if you so wish, or then continue with the same ones if they work well for you. There's no limit for that.

Since I am new, do I have to start this week or can I start say next week, and if I do, does that count against me already?

You are welcome to start posting fics whenever you like. From the week you post your first fic we start counting the weeks you have written. It doesn't matter if you start this week or the next.

The only restriction is that you have to post a fic that uses the prompt for that particular week. During Christmas time we are giving prompts ahead of time which we don't usually do. In other words if you post a fic this week you need to use the prompt "Rope", if you start posting next week you should use the prompt "Nowhere"

Hi guys, I was just wondering what the prompt after 'Nowhere' is going to be. The table says it would be posted on 15/16 Dec.
I'm just being pushy because I'm probably going to be sans internet for the next 10 days, so I'm trying to work ahead.
