I really enjoyed this little snapshot. I'm not familiar with Transformers, but I don't think that really mattered. I especially liked the way you used the 'extremeness' of everything - the way things are 'too much'. It really gets across that incredibly raw feeling you get when you are grieving.

Also liked the idea of the 'species bureaucrat', that's a lovely way of putting it.

Very curious where you will take this next, so am looking forward to the next part.
