I've noticed that someone here--Catwoman? Is doing Taming twice to get each award level. I thought that might be fun to try myself, but help. Please tell me how exactly she is working that.

I believe the folks who double-write do it under a second screen name....

makes sense - I think it's a great idea for you, to keep motivation and get intelligent feedback.

Hi there *waves*

What I'm doing is I have this name, my main name, for my first Goddess run. That's the one I've be writing of for 60 weeks or whatever it is. What I'm doing for the awards is using another journal I had (I'd actually created it as a nano writing journal and never used it) and posting with it. As for tags, because I wanted to keep them both under my name, I tag it as "Catw00man2."

I was told you need to take a week off for each award, once you reach that level, so that's what I do. I don't know if it would work for you but for my second name I basically have been writing 500 words a week on one ongoing storyline I have. So far I've been lucky enough to be able to work prompts in ;) It's definitely been a challenge and eventally I hope to actually reach "double goddess" LOL If anything just for my own fun.

Good luck! My only advice is try to get it done early, lol, and tag well. Hope this helps. :)

Yes, [livejournal.com profile] catw00man wanted to collect all the pretty banners while at the same time continuing piling up weeks for the bigger awards

From the mod point of view you need to do the following:
- tell us that you want to collect the smaller awards as well
- tell us under what username you are going to do it
- tell us which username you want the awards with
- what tag you want to use

That's all I can think of. If I come up with something else, I will let you know

I've thought about doing it myself too but this far I've chickened out. Although it might be a good way to get all my WIP's finished *g*

And I just noticed that [livejournal.com profile] catw00man managed to answer to you as well. I hope our replies help!

One other thing I just thought of (that I figured I'd make sure I had right) was once you do reach the Goddess level for the second time. *g* At that point you can just start "cashing" in weeks versus starting over from scratch, right? For that we just let you guys know that's what we're doing? Is that right? I know I still have a ways to go for that one, but I just thought I'd check.

Thanks!

Yes, that would be absolutely right. When you reach the Goddess level you can cash in your weeks if you so wish and you don't have to take a week off. If you do take a week off you need to start from a scratch, meaning you again need to write for 30 weeks before you can start collecting the Goddess-level awards.

Example:

You've written for 30 weeks. You write for five weeks more and can get the first Goddess level award if you wish. After that you write for ten weeks more and get the next award. And so on.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. We try to answer all questions to our best ability.

You got it absolutely right. I will add the tag to the taglist so that you can use it in the future. I think the system requires me to add the tag for the first time but after that you can add it yourself. I will try to catch the first entry you make and tag it.

I have to admit I admire your courage. For me it's sometimes a struggle to get the one entry written, two would be impossible. *g*

Good luck!

Thanks for adding the tag. I did my first one tonight, a short xangel friendship piece.

I don't know if I'll manage or not. I just tell myself, two more weeks of doubling up. *wink*
