Summary: Buffy's about to face off with a warlock intent on killing her. Sam isn't letting it happen without him.

Author's Note: This isn't a full fic, it's actually just one scene that will very likely become part of something longer. But I didn't have time to write the full thing out or to write a fully chapter so this will have to do. Think of it as a sneak peek. But yes, with finals and then graduation today, there was no time for a new chapter of Darkness I Live In and I didn't get to write the other idea I had but hopefully you enjoy it anyway.
