It's again prompt time. This week's prompt comes from [livejournal.com profile] lit_gal who reached her 75 weeks last week. Without further ado the prompt is...

Keckle

Um, yeah. If you are as confused as I am check here or here for a definition.

As always you can interpret the prompt in any way you wish. If you find some other definition for the word, you are more than welcome to use it. And remember to have fun!

Right, just to double check something. I have done three weeks now of prompts as jans_sanctuary. Do I now sit out this prompt (as Jans sanctuary, not as jans-intentions) so I get the first level award? Hope that doesn't sound confusing, lol.

This prompt. Sheesh.

LOL. Come on, you know you love my prompts! ;)

I was just going to volunteer to do prompts for summer so ya'll would have two months of joy and hairpulling.

They can lead to some interesting places. I still think arrizhal (and I think I spelled that wrong), led to one of the strangest and best pieces I've done.

Yep, just lucked out this week that I was planning to let JS take it off. *wink*

Typically, what catw00man does is she posts an entry in her 2nd user name for the week she's taking off so she can get a banner, but that's not required.

I'm not sure I know what that means since I haven't paid close enough attention, but I'll trust that if I do one prompt this week as JI and take it off as JS, JS earns her first level banner. Thanks for the reassurance. I just want to do this right.

Other Definitions, please.

While searching for a more clear explanition of this week's prompt, I found this. Just thought I would share.
Found it here: http://everything2.com/index.pl?node=keckle&lastnode_id=267514

Keck
(Keck) v. i. [imp. & p. p. Kecked ; p. pr. & vb. n. Kecking.] [Cf. dial. G. köcken, köken.] To heave or to retch, as in an effort to vomit. [R.] Swift.

Keck
(Keck), n. An effort to vomit; queasiness. [R.]

Keckle
(Kec"kle) v. i. & n. See Keck, v. i. & n.

And, that wasn't the only definition I found, but the other one was . . . very sleezy?

No problem. I know I wasn't looking forward to making that word work at all.
Glad it helped.
