104 Weeks = 2 Years!!

This week, eight of our goddesses reached 104 weeks: the two year mark. We've decided to do something really special for those hitting two years solid, which includes not one, but TWO awards. The first award is to celebrate the two year mark, which today will go to:

The second award is personalized even more by those who've hit the two year mark. The award base is this:



That blank space is for an image of a Greek goddess, one of the writer's choosing. You'll also be receiving an icon to go with it. Among the many goddesses, you can choose Athena, Aphrodite, Artemis, Demeter and Persephone, if just to name a few. The only two that are NOT pickable are Hera and Gaia; we have plans for those two goddesses specifically down the line.

Don't worry about choosing a goddess someone else has already spoken up for; even if you select a goddess someone else already has, the images will be unique each time, we promise. ^_^ So choose your favorite Greek goddess, comment and let us know, and...ta da!

But I can't believe we've been going on for TWO YEARS. 0_0 That's really sorta cool, that not only we've been around for that long, but that the comm has! I love this comm so much. ^_^

I don't know. I am three weeks behind you guys, so that sounds kind of long, but I don't know how you count.

I am really excited for all of us. This place has been really good for me. Whole stories have been written from me since I posted them here.

Brain, meet mouth; mouth, brain. *headdesk* Sorry about that sweetie, but yeah, you're close. Like damn close.

Me too; I finally finished one of my Buffy WIPs with it, and I fully intend to use this comm to finish my other ones. ^_^ And everyone here is so sweet and eager and enthusiastic about it, which makes doing it a lot of fun!

Congrats to all those who've made it to 104 weeks! I know when we started I never imagined any of us getting anywhere near this far.

As for my choice of goddess, she wasn't one you mentioned, and she wasn't originally Greek (although they did a pretty thorough job adopting her), so would it be too much for me to ask for Hecate?

I've been thinking and given the fact that I write in BtVS, I think I'll have to ask for Tārā. According to Wikipedia, in Tibetan Buddhism she is the "mother of liberation" and represents the virtues of success in work and achievements. Seems fitting somehow. Thank you.
