Okay, I *think* I have the journal issues fixed. Hopefully both IE and Firefox people will see something similar this time (although IE was loading images slow. AND hopefully the colors are a little more pleasant without looking like either Barney or a 10 year old girl's room exploded (you know, all pinky-purply sweetness). Sorry if I made anyone dizzy with the spinning style changes.
Okay, we're pretty stable this week, even with the oddness around LJ.
articulatedream and
frk_werewolf left us without earning an award. However,
shadow_in_eden and
fan_spagle are both back, and
sparrow2000 has joined us for the first time! Weeeee.
It's so incredibly cool that 18 weeks into this, the comm is still going strong! Writing every week really does challenge the muses, but we're getting them tamed!

Date: 2006-11-05 09:27 pm (UTC)But then I'm all about the purple today. Anyone who wants to check out the draft of my new book cover that will be on its way to my publisher tomorrow courtesy of the cover artist (who is also my exceptionally talented sister) is welcome. I would love input/opinions. We've been unable to please her (the publisher) for months, and that's been the holdup on getting Vol. II of the The Histories out.
The post is in my journal here (http://swweeks.livejournal.com/13444.html).
If you have the time and interest, thanks so much!

Date: 2006-11-07 11:11 am (UTC)At any rate, the links are:
Front Cover (http://www.stephanieweeks.com/images/SAfrontsm.jpg)
Back Cover (http://www.stephanieweeks.com/images/SAbacksm.jpg)
The bit to the right on the back cover is the spine.
I'm more distressed over the not viewing aspect b/c I'm posting all the NANO bits that way as well. I'm going to have to figure this out now...

Date: 2006-11-07 08:59 pm (UTC)I don't know much about LJ either. I've not tried any locking combinations yet - still too new the whole thing. But Litgal probably does know, so I'll believe her. When you work out the intricacies, I'd love to hear the conclusion *sits back and lets you do all the work* *g*
I like the front cover, thank you for showing me. It's atmospheric.
So, is this for publication, book shop publication, or is it an e-book (another thing I know nothing about)?

Date: 2006-11-06 06:23 am (UTC)Yes, that works and it's really nice. No exploding teen-girl's room (Goodness, you should see what my brother has done for his daughter.....*shakes head in amazement*) this looks great!
