Sorry for the lateness on this one guys; wee bit of confusion over here, since we're trying something new. But! We have a prompt.

This is the one where we'll give you the phrase, and you're going to complete the phrase. Like this:

Great minds have purposes, little minds have...

The original ending is "wishes", but we don't want to see wishes. We want to see other things, like "fishes" or "deviousness". Be wacky, be thoughtful, be whatever you want to be. ^_^ Just make sure you put in a different word at the end of the phrase, and use the phrase in your post!

Again, this is new, so if you guys have any questions about ANYTHING, feel free to let us know!

Just to make sure I understand it in the correct way:

This phrase has to be inserted in the story verbatim, right? Exactly in the way we chose to let it end.

Or are we allowed to interpret it the way the usual word or picture prompts are interpreted?

The phrase itself has to be inserted into the story, but with the ending you choose. ^_^ I'm looking forward to seeing what people put at the end of the phrases!

Thanks to you too.

And yes, it did help.

Ok, now I'm confused. With the phrases like 'A rolling stone crushes toes' we didn't have to put that *in* the fic. We could use the phrase as inspiration. Can we not finish the phrase and use that as inspiration? Otherwise that makes it...pretty limiting.
