[livejournal.com profile] hc_bingo’s February Mini-Challenge: prompts were: wildcard (mind control), loss of identity, deprogramming, forced to rely on enemy/rival (unfortunately past the deadline!)
Author Notes: Ah, I have not written something in a true horror genre for a while. Hope this is as good as my previous horror stories.

For this story I played with an idea that dwarves never reveal who they are courting. It’s one of the ways in which they demonstrate their possessiveness of their partner: in fear of having another try to woo their lover, they keep the identity of their lover a secret, sometimes even to family, until on the day of the wedding.

“The giant Gundobad Orc had sworn to wipe out the line of Durin.” - a line from the first Hobbit film.

Title: Among Bedsheets and Splinters (3/3)
Fandom: The Hobbit
Pairing: Bofur/Kíli
Words: 4,580
Warnings: None.
Rating: Explicit
Summary: A heroic deed by Bofur is finally rewarded many years later, much to Bofur and Kíli’s surprise.
Disclaimer: Belongs to J.R.R. Tolkien.
Prompt: Written for hobbit_kink. Request was: “During their escape from Erebor Bofur did something Superheroic and Brave and saved Thorin's life. Thorin then, as it was an ancient Dwarf custom, promised him his offspring's hand in marriage. He never had any children and Fili is his heir, which leaves Kili. Kili had no idea and Bofur forgot, so when Thorin tells them they are both a bit shocked.”
Also for [livejournal.com profile] tamingthemuse : mouse (week 26 submission)
Author Notes: And the final installment, although it is neither the last Bofur/Kíli fic that I write nor the last story in this 'verse. I do plan on writing more, though I warn from now the future stories are not guaranteed to be happy, especially since I plan on keeping this as canon-compliant.

Also for [livejournal.com profile] tamingthemuse : kiln (week 25 submission)
Author Notes: I tried to be compliant with both bookverse and movieverse, but while working on this chapter decided that the story is following a more movieverse version.

Also, the original Part 2 got too long, so that too will be split. However, I believe it will be posted much sooner, since I have most of the words written already!

Also for [livejournal.com profile] tamingthemuse : double down (week 23 submission) (note: prompt taken to mean “increasing one’s efforts/focus.”)

Title: Mazes and Cages
Fandom: The Silmarillion
Characters/Pairings: Fëanor/Nerdanel, House of Fëanor
Words: ~ 5,000
Warnings: None
Rating: PG-13
Summary: After the Dagor Dagorath, all beings who once lived in Arda must reawaken for the Second Music, but someone is missing and Nerdanel demands to find him.
Disclaimer: Belongs to J.R.R. Tolkien.

[livejournal.com profile] tamingthemuse : booby trap (week 2 submission)
scenes settings and spaces for [info]kink_bingo {my card}
Author Notes: Story began for Back to Middle Earth 2012 challenge, but never got around to finishing it till now. I was always confused by Fëanor’s comment to the Valar concerning handing back the Silmarils. Would he simply be heartbroken over the end of his greatest creation, or would he actually die, “slain,” from the breaking? This story explores the latter scenario.
