I've written my two Sweet Charity fics for [livejournal.com profile] devon99 as she bid upon, but she gave me five fantastic plot bunnies, and...my muse liked them all. She's received her two fics via email, and the second one I'll be posting this upcoming week. For now, here's the first half of the other fic I wrote for one of her prompts. ^_^

Disc.: I am not the owner of Liberty Avenue (American or British).  I wrote myself and a couple of others as OC, but that's about it.  But the actual show characters I hold no claim to.  And Ben Bruckner should be very grateful of that.  I don't own rights to Last Dance either.

Back story: This is the final part of my OC Queer as series.  In Part 1, Queer as Studies: Ben and Michael meet one of Ben's transfer students and change his life.  In Part 2, Queer as Desire: John is adjusting to the changes of Liberty Avenue and dealing with his feelings for Ben.  Queer as Life is Part 3: John followed Devon to London for his career.

Summary: In Chapter 2, Halloween leads to some interesting costume choices and a mutual crush in Devon's club reveals itself.  John, of course, reaps the rewards.
