Devil greeted them with a stern look before leaving the room in a huff, the cat having been annoyed at having to stay in for the last week since it had been recovering from a operation.

"What? No, eww. What have you been reading?" Lindsey asked her, as she took of her jacket and hung it up in a closet in the hallway like always. Practically routine by now, which kinda bothered Kat since she always just threw her coat and purse on the couch in the living room before going to the kitchen for something to drink or eat but she probably should be used to it by now.
