Prompt Post

For those really paying attention, the patterns in the randomizer are probably starting to come clear. After all, I pulled lists of things from wherever I could find them. Three different prompts have come from the list of Latin phrases, two came from science terms, two came from mangled sayings, and now we have our second from the "city" list (the first was Mecca back on week six). Maybe it's just me (Americans aren't taught much geography in school), but I had to look this one up.  I'm also completely screwed because it doesn't fit either of my current WIPs.  Grrrrr.

Hmmm... perhaps if I go with the Roman name and a loose reference...

*shakes head*

You would do this to me right here at the end, wouldn't you?

I sucked at geography in school and all, but I know this name just can't remember from where. lol. I think in Europe maybe, but then I'm a news junkie. lmao.

Okay, I might actually be able to integrate this. (My Geography lessons were zilch too. I learned more about geography from my dad playing Risk then the actual lessons I had.)

I think Spike and Xander get to continue their "honeymoon". It's been a while since I visited the boys last time. I even know where this town is. I've never been there but heard some things that will help.

A question popped into my mind. I know you mean the capital of Turkey here but what if the word means something in my language. Would I be allowed to use it in that meaning? I still might go with the "honeymoon" idea but I'm just curious.

Missed your message in chat. on sick leave now. still coughing and no voice but maybe feeling a bit better than earlier.

It means "strict", "rigorous" or "severe"

Hmm, Spike was telling Xander about smoking hashish in Turkey in this weeks chapter, so I think we have to revisit that a bit.

I've been to Turkey. I think I could work this in this week's Seven np, if that's the story I decide to go with.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhgh

Does it stand for anything?

Oh man...none of my boys would go to TURKEY! Jeesh...wish I could write my vamps...than I might have a chance.

*headdesk*

Bring back the scientific terms LMAO

Boy do you know how to stretch my creativity to it's limits!!!

Just curious, but do they have to go to Turkey? Could we write something inspired by the flag or some other aspect explained in the article?

Oh darn! I read It was formerly known as Angora and got all my hopes up about writing about an Angora... until I went to that page and it told me not to get Angora confused with Agora. *sighs* I could have put in an Agora quite easily. Ah well, back to the drawing board!
