Prompt Post
Apr. 15th, 2007 08:57 amWhoa... overslept. That would be a combination of joining a BOSU class led by a military fitness trainer who can not only do jumps three times higher than I can, but he can do it SINGING! Yep, he sang the directions ("seven more-comeon-comeon-six more-comeon-comeon"), sang along with the work-out song and was generally WAY too perky for a near-fifty African American DRILL SERGEANT! Serious stereotyping breakage! Then I came home and did the spring pruning of trees and bougainvilleas. I was wiped by the time I hit the sack. So, sorry about the lateness, but this week's prompt is...
Inertia
- Physics The tendency of a body to resist acceleration; the tendency of a body at rest to remain at rest or of a body in straight line motion to stay in motion in a straight line unless acted on by an outside force.
- Resistance or disinclination to motion, action, or change: the inertia of an entrenched bureaucracy.
- 3.Medicine/Medical. lack of activity, esp. as applied to a uterus during childbirth when its contractions have decreased or stopped.

Date: 2007-04-16 03:13 am (UTC)I paid a personal trainer a few years ago and lost a lot of weight. I need to do that again. :sigh: Still, even with the trainer, you have to protect yourself and know when the pain is too much or something is too difficult. Still, good for you making the commitment to your health!
