Whoa... overslept. That would be a combination of joining a BOSU class led by a military fitness trainer who can not only do jumps three times higher than I can, but he can do it SINGING! Yep, he sang the directions ("seven more-comeon-comeon-six more-comeon-comeon"), sang along with the work-out song and was generally WAY too perky for a near-fifty African American DRILL SERGEANT! Serious stereotyping breakage! Then I came home and did the spring pruning of trees and bougainvilleas. I was wiped by the time I hit the sack. So, sorry about the lateness, but this week's prompt is...

Inertia
  1. Physics The tendency of a body to resist acceleration; the tendency of a body at rest to remain at rest or of a body in straight line motion to stay in motion in a straight line unless acted on by an outside force.
  2. Resistance or disinclination to motion, action, or change: the inertia of an entrenched bureaucracy.
  3. 3.Medicine/Medical. lack of activity, esp. as applied to a uterus during childbirth when its contractions have decreased or stopped.

It'll be HSG this week; perfect prompt for Fred.

Get some rest sweetie; it sounds like you deserve it!

Eeek.

Not sure I can do it this week. I'll be going out of town on like Wednesday and I have only 7 days to finish this project for school which has probably influence over whether I graduate or not.

*Blinks*

Um... I'm may be a little paranoid today, but I have to ask, because it has been true in the past.

Have you given the prompt to some authors before you gave it to the rest of us? No offence meant to the authors with stories up already, but it really looks like favouritism from where I'm sitting.

I know I'm out of order saying so, and there is nothing in the rules to stop you.

Ah, see. This is why wise people got burnt at the stake by the stupid. Or in this case, the well prepared author gets heckled by the crazy lady. I am sorry for accusing you, I'm just having a rough patch. *hugs*

Kerfluffy is an intresting word. I hope it never ever appears as a prompt. *smirk*

I fell and hurt my knee at work about a month ago, and it still hurts. I don't think I could do that BOSU now or ever again. I need to find something to do because I'm really really out of shape.

I'm getting an MRI to see what's going on. The kneecap is not involved, nor are any other bones. It's the ligaments, tendons, miniscus, stuff like that they want to check. Hopefully, it will just keep getting better. It still hurts pretty bad, but it's so much better than it was.

I paid a personal trainer a few years ago and lost a lot of weight. I need to do that again. :sigh: Still, even with the trainer, you have to protect yourself and know when the pain is too much or something is too difficult. Still, good for you making the commitment to your health!

The image this prompt brought to mind caused a re-reading of the rules, and I didn't find the answer, so I thought I'd ask. What's the concensus on Real Person Fic?
