Title: Random Pages from the Histories, XI

Summary: On the nature of Declan’s fidelity… 13 years of evidence. Concludes with the eve of Lachie’s rescue (tying in the
Orion prompt from last week).
Word Count: 5,018
A/N: Another long one. My apologies. A handful of notes here. First, there are a couple of sections that are reworked from either
Seraphim Applorant or
Invocatus Rex. As the former is soon to be released and the latter is under consideration, I need to have that stated clearly. The Soho and Wales sections are both derived from
Seraphim, originally written from Kincaid’s POV and adapted to be from Declan’s. There are minor bits in the first Scotland section and the Devon section derived from
IR, originally written from Aisling’s POV and adapted to be from Declan’s.
Also, this piece references a couple of earlier TTM pieces that may be of interest. Much of the Wales section references a period of time when Declan was ‘protecting’ Sylvie without Kincaid’s knowledge. I wrote another piece about this for the
Mens Rea prompt. It’s actually one of my favorites. A small scene between Declan and Sylvie that isn’t strictly canon.
Here is another one (from Declan’s own, now defunct journal) that references the days leading up to the scene in the Wales section. Finally, the first Scotland section references the hell perpetrated by Aisling on the entire family, and this is also dealt with quite a lot in the
Pitch prompt.
I just realized how much the A/Ns look like I just patched together a bunch of previously written material. Not so. Most are obscure references. The two mentions above to the actual books are for dialog. The rest is entirely original. Sorry for the misdirection!
