Title: One Dark Moment in Time (Our Time is Fading series part 4)
Rating: PG-13
Prompt: #69 Confrontational
Pairing: Buffy/Spike
Warnings: Lots of character death, some language.
Spoilers: almost a century after BtVS and AtS
Summary: Buffy and Spike have sparked a fire, but Buffy soon realizes that they aren't the only ones who battle against the corrupt future. As they head out to a secure location, Buffy reveals the dark moment that sealed her immortality.
Disclaimer: Joss is the bitch-king of all, but this plot is mine.
Notes: This became a lot more, eh, political than I wanted. Also kind of delaying, so I'm still expecting only two more parts to this fic and then it's D-U-N, Done. I'm also very tired, which is why I couldn't wrap my brain around making Spike and Buffy interact more... good-ly. Okay, I'm going to bed now!

"I'm not leaving this continent. Not without you. There's always hope and redemption, even if we have to burn it down to the ground."

Hey guys! ^_^ Just to let you all know the status of things and how we're operating everything time-wise.

Saturday evening/Sunday morning - The new prompt is posted. If it's posted Saturday evening, you still have time to get in the old prompt.

Sunday - Voting is posted, Awards earned are posted. For example, for prompt 68, we lost three authors, and two earned awards. We hope to get it to where the awards earned during the current week are posted, but right now, we're sticking with this. NaNoWriMo is playing hectic with many lives. ^_^

Congrats guys; hope to see you back soon!

Voting'll be up in a short bit.

There were problems with voting last time, so let me make it VERY clear on how you should vote.

There are numbers 5 through 10. 5 is "This is really pretty bad". 6 is "Eh, it could be better". 7 is average. 8 is "This is pretty cool". 9 is "Wow, this one was really awesome" and 10 is "OMG I want to read more by this author love what they did gush gush gush".

As a mod, I've never truly seen anything that deserves a 5. Ever. We've never had to remove someone because of low voting, so please keep this in mind if you're thinking about giving someone a 5. There better be some good reasons behind it.

Also, all series are in (these marks), just to let you guys know.

Voting! )

Christmas is coming my fellow muse tamers and now we mods are interested to know what you want to do with the Christmas time prompts. Last year we extended a few prompts so that people had more time to write. What do you want to do this year? Below is a poll where you can give your vote. The poll is going to be up for at least a week.

Here is this week's update. To avoid reading for an exam I for once am in time *g*

Unfortunately we seem to have lost three writer's again. [livejournal.com profile] strickens_girl was only back for one week so no new awards for her, unfortunately.

[livejournal.com profile] dangerous_47 wrote for 17 weeks so she earned the Melpomene award

[livejournal.com profile] grenouillenue wrote for 6 weeks and earned the Clio award

We hope to see you all back soon with us!
