I'm glad you're coming to know Lucie better. That's important. Oh, this is only Chapter 2, right? There's time yet, but it is important. She's such a fixture (like Etienne's Aga, lol), but how essential. If she weren't there...

I'm kind of shocked that Sylivie knows about Xavier's feelings. I'm now speculating as to whether Xavier suspects that she knows. God this is going to get complicated. Oh, yes, she knows. That happens in Part II (Sylvie's part) of the real SA on Kincaid's first trip to her home right after they learn the truth of Magi Sancti... and Kincaid has just learnt the truth of who she is. Etienne tells her. I just posted it, easier that way, here (http://swweeks.livejournal.com/58828.html).
