Summary: [SB] After the Hellmouth collapses, Buffy and her friends move to LA. They believe Spike to be dead, until they meet Galen, a troubled man who appears to be a reincarnation of the vampire.
Story warnings: This story gets into misuse of medication, minor character death, based in Illuminati conspiracy and other stuff that shouldn't be read by mentally unstable persons. But even if you are, I'm not gonna stop ya. Have fun with the paranoia. They are all out to get you.
Chapter warnings: My beta is away being married (YAY!) So there's no beta-ness. I swear I worked on this all week, but I don't know why I only ended up with 1,000 words by Friday. It's really lame.

I began writing this a couple of years ago, but it kind of died and I was left with this, and a few other orphan parts, and no idea what I was going to do with them. Then it occurred to me that a weekly prompt might be exactly the thing I need to make me take it/them in hand. I still have no idea what's going to happen, but I trust the prompts to help me out.

It might be more of an occasional series than a continuous story (the bits really are mostly unconnected bits) but with luck I might manage to get them fleshed out and turn them into something.

Okay, so she didn't say that, but that's basically what Renée heard her say because it's not like she hadn't heard that many times over when directed at her or just eavesdropping as a kid.

"Yeah, yeah. I know, Ronnie. It was a miscalculation on my half. I thought he could handle it, how was I to know that his friend wouldn't drop it." Renée muttered to her old school friend. She had taken Eli to his place to pick up some clothes, but turns out his roommate was at home and decided to be all concerned for his friend. Jeeze, so not the right time for that.
