Title: All Roads
Author: Sunnyd_lite
Fandom: Buffy Between Sn 3 and 4
Rating: NC-17
Pairing: mentions B/A shows Spike/OC
Prompt: riptide
Words: 2060
Summary: In Season 4 Spike found the Gem of Amara. .. do you think HE researched that?
Warnings: I've been reading the Dark!Xander ficathon entries. Apparently I write what I read. This is vamps torturing vamps.
Disclaimer: Created by Joss, owned by corporations, played with by me. No profit, no foul, right?
A/N: Thank you to my beta [livejournal.com profile] spiralleds for last minute assists! Of course all errors are mine. This is Spike's story, so British spelling is in effect. The muse didn't like this one. You almost got a story of a band who did Beach Boys/Billy Ocean mash ups. This? Well 100% Beach Boys free.

Title:  Breaking Free (20/many?)
Fandom:
BTVS; Spike/Xander
Warnings: Slash, AU, Sci-fi, Violence, bit of Dom kink
Rating:  NC-17
Summary: Lt. “Xander” Harris and Captain William the Bloody have both suffered and lost in the on going war between the Biogens and Council. Now, Xander finds himself a prisoner of Captain William the Bloody (aka Spike). What will be Xander’s fate?

Not part of the prompt but posting for those who are following the story.

PS This chapter is the beginning of section with some serious violence. Read at your own discretion.

Previous parts here.

As always: Feedback make my heart go pitter-patter.

I'm not sure about this one. I just wanted to get into Xander's head.

Title: Dark Tower
Fandom: BtVS
Prompt: #14 - Riptide
At: [livejournal.com profile] tamingthemuse
Warnings: Character death.
Rating: Pg
Summary: A sort of companion piece to 'Fag Ends'
Note: Xander's spoken dialogue is taken from BtVS Episode 5:22, The Gift
Note 2: The prompt 'riptide' set me off into a world of watery metaphor. There is no point in swimming against a riptide. The way to escape is to swim at 45 degrees to the direction of the current, using it, instead of fighting it.

Posting these later and later week after week. Cutting pretty close already...

Title: Random Pages from the Histories, XIII
Fandom: Original Fiction
Prompt: Riptide
Warnings: mild language
Rating: PG
Summary: Aleck is 21 and enjoying a weekend at the old family estate in Aberdeen (Scotland, that is).
Word Count: 2,523

A/N: Barely made it this week! RL, no story for the longest time, etc... Just couldn’t finish the Coadeyder bit again this week. I’m still holding out though. Maybe next week. Meanwhile, here’s a very character-driven piece for this week’s prompt. As always, concrit is welcome and adored.

Title: Coming, Going, and Swirling the Drain
Author: [livejournal.com profile] meredevachon
Fandom: Supernatural/Angel crossover
Series: Moments ‘Verse
Characters: Lindsey McDonald with mentions of Dean Winchester
Pairing: Dean Winchester/Lindsey McDonald
Prompt #14: Riptide
Rating: R (mostly for language)
Word Count: 1159
Spoilers/Warnings: Takes place pre-series for Supernatural and post-Season 4 of Angel. And I’m serious about the language warning.
Summary: When your life is all about the shades of grey, sometimes it’s hard to know which way to turn.

Read Coming, Going, and Swirling the Drain in my journal.

The series continues! Again, I apologize for how rough this is. Just snuck it in under the line! Whew! Five minutes to spare!

Title: Undercurrents
Author: Artemis Rain
Fandom: Doctor Who 2005/ Joan of Arcadia/Highlander/Animorphs
Prompt: Riptide
Warnings: Crack city. Also, major collision of fandoms.
Pairing: Hints of Grace/Luke (from JoA)
Spoilers: Highlander episodes “Comes a Horseman” and “Revelations 6:8”
Feedback: Makes my world go round.

Summary: A little multi-fandom peril on the high seas. Fourth in the TCAFoYD series.

A/N: This is part one of what will hopefully be a two-part story. If you are unfamiliar with Highlander and/or Animorphs, don’t worry, as enough will be explained to cover the basics (if not in this part, then in the next). However, if you haven’t seen the Highlander episodes mentioned above, and/or you don’t know what Methos was doing back in the Bronze Age, you might be a teeny bit lost. It’s not all that important, though.

This is my longest story to date (and it’s only part one) with a word count of 3,720! Yaaaay!

Title: Watching
Fandom: Firefly
Prompt: Riptide [a strong surface current flowing outwards from a shore]
Warnings: None
Rating: R
Summary: River looks into the subject of feelings and how people feel and think. A gen fic that basically goes along with canon. [which is pretty odd for me] and can be placed in almost any point of the series.

It comes from the inside. Feeling. Like a riptide. )
