Summary: A human archaeologist and treasure hunter has found a vital clue to long lost vampire treasure, the werewolves also claim it as their's. A Master vampire called Spike and an Alpha werewolf called Derek work together to retrieve it along with their young, human, male mates.

The week at his mother’s home had quite a bit to do with that. Resting there, helping Mum weed the garden, rediscovering the simple pleasure of a cup of hot cocoa, these had all restored an equilibrium he hadn’t realized he’d lost. He was going to need it. Buffy didn’t know he was alive. Buffy didn’t know he was twelve. )
