Hey gang,

Here are the awards for March 2010 (yeah, I know....).  We had four people submit stories: [livejournal.com profile] alakewood , [livejournal.com profile] guardian_erin , [livejournal.com profile] tigerstriped86 , and [livejournal.com profile] windandthestars .  Since I've already collected, I didn't make a new one for myself (but, yes, I am going to research doing new ones...starting in December, since I had a quirky idea to maybe do a secret santa exchange instead of a normal monthly challenge.)

Rest Under Cut )

Also, here is where [livejournal.com profile] blue_icy_rose is getting her 2 year award, not the personal one but the official "we make it for everybody" shiny.  Enjoy!  (PS: I know your name has dashes, but they looked like weird eyebrows when I personalized it, so I left them off.  I can try again later, if you wish.)

Since we are so close to our 200th prompt, I thought that I might give everyone a tally of their current totals once that is reached.  So, if you can hold out just a bit longer, I will have those to you soon.

Just waiting for one more entrant and then I'll post the past 2 weeks tracking together, since I didn't have any awards to put together (hope, hope, hope).

Hope you're excited for the new prompt!

Title: Rage!Verse: Lady Phem
Author: tigerstriped86
Fandom: QaF (US) Rage!verse comics
Rating: High teen

Disc.: Not mine! Disco is an expanded friend from what I assume is another new city in the ever-expanding DC multiverse, whom I'm assuming bought out Rage but kept on the original artist and writer, plus the new writer-my OC John Penn, who added Disco as a superhero to go along with Rage and Zephyr.  It seemed like the right thing to do at the time.

Summary: Disco is brainwashed using electro-shock therapy to serve a new villainess he meets at his new busboy job.  Rage admits that he doesn't exactly hate Disco.  At the end of the day, thats the best anybody's gonna get from him.

Hello everyone! *waves*

It's time for our March monthly challenge!

Choose an invention and then write a 1000+ word story including the invention in your story. This should be a complete story, rather than a part of a larger piece, however, it can be original or fan fiction.

Entries will need to be received by midnight 31st March at GMT -12. We'll issue a closed post as we do with the weekly prompts.

When you post your entry, please tag it for the challenge.

You do not have to be a regularly contributing member of the community to participate. This challenge is optional and open to everyone.

You are allowed to use the monthly challenge in conjunction with any of the weekly prompts this month as long as you follow all the requirements for both. So, for this month, you would:
- Include the weekly prompt in your story
- It would be a stand-alone, a story of 1000 words or more including an invention
- It would be posted by the earlier of the two deadlines (midnight Saturday, or midnight on the 31st).

Good luck everyone!
